Hello, my name is Joey Head, I’m 28 and I was born in The Pas Manitoba, but moved to Winnipeg at the age of 12. I had a rough childhood with no father around. My mother is an alcoholic so I was in foster homes and group homes from the ages of 7 to 12.
I’m the second oldest of eight children. My older brother and older cousins were gang members. I ended up joining then and became a gang member at the age of 15 which was a huge mistake. When I was 19 a group of older males tried to rob me in the north end of Winnipeg and I shot one of them with a pistol and he died. It was my biggest mistake and greatest regret.
For my stupidity I received a Life Sentence without the eligibility for full parole for 12 years. I’m eligible for day parole May 2018.
I have since drastically changed my life. I quit being a gang member and became a Christian. I finished High School and will attend University upon parole. I like to laugh and have interesting conversations. I’m confident, kind and respectful. I believe in being loyal, honest and loving.

Well let’s start by saying that I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life. This is my 3rd pen bit. I’m 38 years young, I’m an Aries. I have no kids but lots of nephews and nieces. I played lacrosse for 17 years and 1 year for the pro team Toronto rocks. I work as a mover with all the Van lines: United, Atlas, A.M.J. Cambell, North American. I go coast to coast just in Canada. I like to ride my motor bike when I can.
My mom and dad passed away a few years ago so it’s just me, my brother, and my sister and their kids. I like to watch hockey, football, lacrosse, baseball, basketball and soccer.
